MASHA AND THE BEAR
‘Happiness Chest’ will be a 55-minute live-action show full of magic, dancing, singing and games for children aged three and above.
The live-action musical based on the Russian animated series created by Oleg Kuzovkov is taking a break from its UK tour to head to Malta for five highly-anticipated performances. Taking place within the Grandmasters Hall at the Hilton Hotel in St Julian’s, the show will hit the stage on Saturday 17 December at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm, and again on Sunday 18 December at 4pm and 6pm.
Children and fans of the uber-popular animated series will be able to follow Masha the bear and all her friends on their latest adventure, entitled the ‘Happiness Chest’. The story finds Masha setting off on a musical adventure to fill her chest with happiness – but there is just one problem… Where do you go to find happiness? Masha decides to head to the forest and, on the way, meets a whole bunch of different animal friends who also want to be very happy. Their adventure ensues!
“It’s a heartwarming tale that fits right in with the spirit of the season,” says Maxim Bodishtianu the founder of Malta Exclusive Events. “It’s got music, magic, dancing and singing, and will feature various interactive moments that will make children feel truly part of the story!”
