Id-Dlam taħt it-Teatru, Manoel Theatre

The Manoel Theatre, Europe’s third-oldest working theatre, has had a glorious past and a bright future as the oldest in the Commonwealth. But it also has had time to nurture a deep, dark secret hidden very carefully in its depths since the time it was built, back in 1731. This May it will all be finally exposed!

What was once a discreetly whispered rumour will become common knowledge as a shadowy entity that has long haunted the subterranean passages beneath Valletta will be lured out into the open.

The winner of the Children’s Category of the Premju Francis Ebejer in 2012, this new play by Malcolm Galea is produced by More or Less Theatre, the Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts.

Although aimed in particular at young adults and teenagers, ‘Id-Dlam taħt it-Teatru’ is also suitable for all people who enjoy having their imaginations enriched with some deviously shady undertones.

Bookings for ‘Id-Dlam taħt it-Teatru’ are now open. This Francis Ebejer award-winning play will be performed at the Manoel Theatre where it is also based. Everyone knows what happens onstage at the Manoel. This play will show you what goes on underneath.

‘Id-Dlam taħt it-Teatru’ will be performed only twice on the 17th and 18th of May and is suitable for the whole family. Tickets may be booked through the link below.  Look forward to go. Watch your back as you leave. Book your tickets here.
