Decomposed is a brilliantly moving play told in a very silly way.

Performed by Classic Mayhem, this family show takes the audience on a journey through classical music with the odd operatic outburst. It features identical twins and a soundtrack of great classical music recorded by the world class London Symphony Orchestra.

Fate has deemed fit to reunite a pair of dysfunctional twins – Will, a failing orchestral conductor and control freak, and Igor, his smelly doppelgänger. In close proximity after 10 years, the combination of their polar personalities spells trouble. Can Will overcome his own ego and turn his life around to save his brother from turning into a total gaming freak?

Written by Roly Taylor and Tim Armstrong-Taylor, and directed by Chris Larner with material from Cal McCrystal (One Man, Two Guvnors), the show has sold out wherever it has played. The Stage review stated that, “Comedy and classical music rarely marry up, but Classical Mayhem’s sixty minutes of quick-fire hilarity set to extracts from great composers makes for a perfect union. As highly entertaining as it is original.”

The show is suitable for everyone aged 8+, but you don’t have to bring a child! Performances will be held on the 16th and 17th April at 6pm at Teatru ManoelTickets are priced at €7 per child and €10 per adult, and be purchased from the Manoel Theatre website.
