CONNECTING THROUGH CULTURE
The intercultural activity, Connecting Through Culture, organised by the Ta’ Xbiex Local Council, will once again return on the 24th July at the Yacht Marina Car Park.
Ta’ Xbiex is considered to be Malta’s embassy capital, and is undoubtedly the locality that hosts the largest number of foreign embassies and embassy residencies in the Maltese Islands. For this particular reason, the Ta’ Xbiex Local Council will be once again involving all the embassies within the town, alongside the support and co-finance of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government.
From 6pm onwards, each embassy will either have a stand of food and drink, or will be delivering an artistic performance on stage. Highlighting the evening will be a variety show with performances from local and international artists who will be coming to Malta exclusively for this event.
The food and drink offered, as well as the performances, will be typical of the countries participating, with the objective being to give a taste of different food, delicacies and culture from around the globe, thus celebrating diversity.
The Ta’ Xbiex Local Council would like to thank the district police for supporting this event.
