Ten years ago, five teenage guys sharing a love for music got together and formed a band. The name they chose was Red Electrick. ‘The end of it all’ was their first single released, and since then they became a household name in Malta. In 2013, they were nominated for the Bay Music Awards in the best band and the best song categories. They continued to make waves with their powerful songs and videos. With hit songs like ‘Who the heck is REK’, ‘Paul’ and ‘Young Again’, they have gathered a huge following of all generations, and there is not one single show that does not sell out in a matter of days. Finally, we included their song, ‘Young Again,’ in our very own Top-10 Maltese songs of all time. They have just presented a brand new song.

Earlier this year the band announced that singer/musician Joe Roscoe would be its new frontman. It’s been four months of working tirelessly in their own studio and with producers in Los Angeles, whilst also finding the time to perform at the legendary Whisky A Go Go and in Bilbao, Spain. The time has come to release the much-awaited Red Electrick’s debut single which introduces Joe Roscoe’s voice, which smoothly blends with Red Electrick’s signature vibe. ‘Right Here’ has hit the airwaves, with its video gaining over 60,000 views on YouTube in less than a week of release.

Still riding the waves of success of ‘Right Here’ Red Electrick released a follow up single ‘G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S,’ another catchy tune, on the 8th August. The band is now planning to tour various locations around Malta and Gozo to electrify every crowd they perform to. Meanwhile, the brand new single is available on Spotify and iTunes.
