Due to popular demand, the Comedy Knights announce their extended run until 14th January 2018. After a tumultuous year in everything from politics to the environment, we all need a chance to laugh it off and look, with hope, to the future. With that in mind, the Comedy Knights launched their latest installment – 5how Me The Funny – on Boxing Day, which soon sold out.

Known for their trademark satirical style and ability to poke (harmless) fun at every aspect of Maltese society, the Comedy Knights are now in their fifth year. Resident at the Salesians Theatre in Sliema, the show promises a melee of laughs at the hands of characters, including the Sliema Girls (who are famed for their side-splitting ‘uwejja’ ‘mela’ sketches), the Balluta Boys, and the First Lady.

This year’s show guarantees ever more laughs out loud – but is less focused on politics and, instead, giggles at Maltese society in general. Popular sketches this year tell tales of pushy parents, patriots, the establishment, and friendship. As always, the eight-strong cast, will be singing and dancing their ways into audiences’ hearts, with a number of big numbers that are sure to have everyone present toe-tapping along – and even joining in with the singing if the mood takes them.

The Comedy Knights is directed by Wesley Ellul and stars Chris Dingli, Jo Caruana, Marc Cabourdin, Pia Zammit, Thomas Camilleri, Steve Hili and Chantelle Micallef Grimaud. 5how Me The Funny will be staged until 14 January at the Salesians Theatre in Sliema, with free parking and tickets starting at €10.
