Malta made many new year’s resolutions last year. In January, we are going to see them materialise one by one. Here are some events to look forward to.

3 January: opening of the market in Valletta

1 – 7 January: last chance to see the Mdina contemporary art biennale

We told you, it’s going to be impressive. The exhibition is on until the 7th of January.

14 – 21 January 2018: opening week of Valletta 2018

The week is going to be full of dance, music and revelry, focusing on Valletta’s four main squares – St George’s Square, St John’s Square, Castille Square, and the area around the Triton Fountain. There will be travelling bands and performers on Valletta’s various streets.
