It’s a good fourth-quarter for music!
Liam Gallagher’s As You Were
Although we’ve had three singles over the past nine months (‘Wall of Glass’, ‘Chinatown’ and ‘For What It’s Worth’), this new album by the former Oasis lead singer came out this autumn – and it’s his first as a solo artist!
P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma
The funny thing about P!nk is that she always seems to be around… There’s always a P!nk song playing on the radio, or a new live performance that takes everyone’s breath away. Even so, this album by the now-veteran singer is her first in five years. YES, five! It came out on 13 October.
Weezer’s Pacific Daydream
Weezer are one of those bands that seem to have been around forever but we rarely hear of. They have sold 17 million albums worldwide though, so they are probably here to stay. This album comes just over a year and a half after their last one – commonly known as The White Album – and could help boost their long-awaited Renaissance. Pacific Daydream came out on 27 October.
Taylor Swift’s Reputation
The old Taylor may be dead, but the new Taylor is set for more soaring heights judging by the first single off her new album, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’. It may have been three years instead of two this time, but people’s appetite for the country-cum-pop princess is still insatiable. The question is: Will the album live up to the hype? Out on 10 November!
Travis Scott’s Astroworld
No one knows when Travis Scott’s new album will be out, but it should be quite a happy moment for hip-hop fans. All we know so far is that the singer started working on it full-time once he finished his tour with Kendrick Lemar… But with the Kylie Jenner pregnancy rumours, who knows?
Do you already own a copy of any of these albums? What do you think?
