Sad news: On July 20, the frontman for the rock band Linkin Park was found dead at his California residence, at the age of 41. The cause of death is suicide by hanging.

Born June 20, 1976, Bennington, was an American songwriter, singer and musician. He was one of the most famous names in the rock music industry for over twenty-five years and has been ranked number 46 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader.

Chester became an international superstar in the early 2000s, following the release of the album Hybrid Theory (Linkin Park). He will be remembered for his robust vocals that effortlessly combined elements of Metal with Rap, trend-setting the nu-metal genre.
