Nadège’s philosophy is ‘to discover, to interpret, to revisit the Maltese jewellery-making tradition in a contemporary style.’ Our recent visit to the artisan’s workshop proved that she has achieved this and beyond. Not only does she invest her creativity and expertise in the structure of her product, but she also stays true to techniques such as Maltese filigree. Her innovation is extended with the recycling of the most uncanny material, and she draws inspiration from some of nature’s loveliest treasures. She’s just showcased her latest collection, Un / Burnished, at this year’s Malta Fashion Week. Check out our interview with Ms Cassar, as she gives us an insight into some of her best work.
