Malta’s leading world music band Tribali is preparing for a very busy summer ahead, with several local performances coming up, as well as exciting new ventures which will see the band perform at various festivals in Europe. Commenting on this, Eliza, the band’s main vocalist said, “We’re really looking forward to all the concerts, particularly those in Europe which will give us the opportunity to share our music with new audiences,” adding that the band is especially excited to see how the European crowd will react to their sound.

Tribali’s first show will be at the Eksi Festival in Turkey at the end of this month, with three shows booked in Hungary for the following month, which includes a headlining slot at the Everness Festival. Finally, the band will be playing another three festivals in Finland in July, namely the Espan Lava Festival, the Jyvaskyla Festival and the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival.

Locally, the band’s first live performance this year will be on Saturday 6th June at the Greek Theatre in Ta’ Qali as part of the Earth Garden Festival 2015. “This festival is very close to Tribali’s heart, as both the band and the event grew together in popularity,” the band said in a comment, with frontman Peter Paul adding that the band always looks forward to give a spectacular show while introducing new tunes when it plays at Earth Garden. “Earth Garden is a family-orientated festival. The event itself is an experience and we strive to make Tribali’s performance the climax of this experience”. It’s also worth mentioning that tickets for the concert are limited so people are encouraged to get their tickets early.
