Why did you apply for Miss Malta?

I wanted a new challenge, a new experience and to meet new people.

How do you feel that you have been chosen as one of the 12 finalists?

Extremely happy

Abroad, which country did you like best?

London – shopping

Which country do you wish to visit?

Las Vegas because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Something you cannot live without?

A person you cannot live without?

My mum (Jane) because she has been both my mother and father, in good and bad. She always supported me and encouraged me.

Stranded on an island. You can only take 4 objects. What would you take?

How did you enter the world of modelling? Age?

At the age of 17 I was encouraged to enter Miss European and from then on I have entered various competitions.

You won the lottery. What would you do with the money?

I would give donations to Puttinu Cares, Dar tal-Providenza, animal sanctuaries and people in need abroad.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

I see myself as an accountant, married and have two children, a boy and a girl. I also wish to continue modelling.

Something you are proud of, you did yourself.

I saved a kitten whilst it attacked me, but succeeded.

Something that makes you angry.

Double faced people, liars, people who chew their food with their mouths open.

Who is your hero?

My father (Joe). When I was 8 years old, my father worked for the government as a foreman, and went to work although he was sick. They were working in a well. Workers had gone down to fix a problem and didn’t come back. He went down to rescue his workers. I remember that my sister was also sick. I arrived from school and saw my mum on the telephone. She was talking to my aunt. They were talking about an accident that happened and three workers had died. After a few minutes, we heard the door bell ring, and there was the police who told us that our father was one of the three who died. This happened at Cirkewwa, 13 years ago. He is still my hero because he went down to save his workers.

Romantic dinner or clubbing?

Morning or evening?

Wakes early or sleeps late?

Wakes early

Modelling, shopping, and listen to music.

I have two tattoos. The letter J on my back which signifies the names of all the members of my family, Joe my father, Jane my mother, Janice my sister and myself. On my hip I have ‘ Dad I love you’ and I wish to do a sunflower as my father loved birds and they used to eat the sunflower seeds.
