Once you have your basic make-up products in your kit, the next step is to obtain the necessary tools to apply those same products. So here are a few pointers to do just that!
- Facial wipes – I would recommend wipes that combine both a cleanser and a moisturiser; this would save time and money. However remember, you only have one skin so make sure to use good quality wipes to take care of it!
- Good quality make-up brushes – Every craftsman needs the proper tools to create masterpieces and so does a make-up artist. Make sure that you have at least the following brushes to start off with – a blusher brush, a foundation brush, a flat eye-shadow brush, a blending brush and an angled brush.
- Q-Tips (cotton buds) – These are relatively cheap tools which work wonders … whether you smudged your mascara or went overboard with your lip-liner, Q-tips will help you deal with your crisis.
- Eyelash curler – If like me, you are not blessed with a natural set of long, curly lashes, then an eyelash curler is a must. It will help your lashes become more prominent, thus framing the eyes and making your look stand out even more.
Having these make-up tools will aid you when applying make-up. Always remember – with the proper equipment to work with, the final outcome will be a great one!
