WORLD CANCER DAY
“When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live.” (Stuart Scott)
Another year, and we are still haunted by this dreaded disease. It can happen to anyone of us – cancer does not discriminate. People unite to raise funds and offer support, and doctors work endlessly and tirelessly to find a cure, or to at least make their patients as comfortable as possible.
This day does not only commemorate those we lost to cancer, but to those strong individuals who are currently battling it everyday. Here’s to your good health and a speedy recovery.
