Mediterranean Conference Centre

Under the baton of Michael Laus, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be closing the Malta Arts Festival at the Mediterranean Conference Centre with a celebration of the world’s greatest playwright with his Romeo and Juliet, the legendary tragedy that’s inspired so many composers.

Commemorating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary, we bring the eternal love story to life through music across the ages. Lush, powerful and poignant, we portray jealousy, passion and fire through the pens of Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky and Bernstein, taking you on a journey from Juliet’s Balcony to Mambo!

Date: 18 July

Time: 9pm

Entrance: €15

Venue: Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta
