OPEN DAY AT FORT FITNESS
Get fit for a good cause at the Fort Fitness Open Day.
An Open Day at Fort Fitness in Fort Cambridge on the 29th January aims to raise €10,000 for the Inspire Foundation.
Last year, the Maltese health and fitness scene had been taken by storm by a new state-of-the art fitness facility that opened at Fort Cambridge in Sliema. With over 2,000m² of an extensive range of the latest resistance and cardiovascular equipment, Fort Fitness offers enthusiasts an experience like no other.
“When we first opened at the end of last year, the reaction from the public was overwhelming,” explained Darren Desira, one of the owners of Fort Fitness. “People were impressed to find that we offer over 140 machines, a three-lane indoor track, a wide variety of innovative group classes and even a boxing academy for both kids and adults. Now, just two months later, we think it’s time that we give something back to society.”
“On the 29th January, the aim is twofold – to give the general public the opportunity have a look around the fitness centre, and to raise funds for the Inspire Foundation.”
During the open day, visitors will enjoy free entertainment provided by six iGaming companies that will be challenging each other at various fitness feats. Whilst the centre will be open all day, the challenge will take place between 10am and noon. The goal is to raise €10,000 in aid of the Inspire Foundation.
Visitors to the open day will also benefit from various offers and giveaways. WOW Beauty Clinic will be offering free laser consultations, Antonio’s Barber Shop will be offering services at a 50% discount, and Dr. Alan Zammit’s Physiotherapy Clinic will be offering free foot scans, to mention but a few.
