MISSIO Malta is part of the Pontifical Mission Societies, with the common aim of assisting the Holy Father in spreading missionary awareness among priests, adults and children. They encourage the aid to the poor, and also gather financial support for different projects in third world countries.

For this purpose, a festival is being held on the 19th March. This will be a day full of activities and entertainment. There will also be a collection of financial support through the special telephone lines throughout the day. Hope #Missio Fest will be screened live on all local television stations.

The principal aim and purpose of Hope #Missio Fest is to promote awareness of and raise funds for the worldwide missionary and pastoral work of the Church.

Hope #Missio Fest will run from noon till midnight, and will be located at the PAMA grounds. There will be a live concert featuring local talent such as X-Tend, Raquel, and The Crowns. Singers from La Voix Academy and dancers from Keith Dance Studio will also be participating.

There will also be a special kids area with a jumping castle, storytelling, face painting, crafts, and activities by the Mosta Nursery and Għajnsielem Nursery.

Hope #Missio Fest is being presented by Amanda Ciappara, Alfred Zammit and Josef Bonello.
