A weeklong event promoting sustainable mobility has been organised by every EU member state since 2002, with the support of the European Commission.

The initiative this year will be carried out from the 16th till the 22nd September. The project aims to encourage individuals and businesses to promote the advantages of adopting sustainable alternatives of urban mobility.

As part of the European Mobility Week, Paragon Europe will be organising events within the margins of the Bike2work Project. Paragon Europe is an innovative Maltese organisation which specialises in international EU affairs, advisory and compliance.



Event: Conference and Press Briefing on Sustainable Modes of Transport, and the Identification of Best Practices in Inter Modality, including the Launch of the Bike2Work Malta Campaign

Time: 9am – 1pm

Venue: Malta Stock Exchange, Valletta

The session will mainly be addressed by notable bodies within the transport industry, such as Transport Malta, Taxi2share Belgium and the Bicycling Advocacy Group. Joop Nijssen from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will also be a guest speaker.
