Summer is round the corner, and as promised, Steve Hili‘s adult panto is back – raunchier, rowdier, and ridiculously funnier than ever.

Beauty and the Beast tells the story of the gorgeous and innocent Belle, and how she gets herself entrapped by a terrible beast who is a bit of a prick… literally. Meanwhile, the baddest baddie in history – who just so happens to have a Panama account but did nothing wrong when he opened it – is making a play for ultimate power, and the dame has only way of saving the day… and it involves ping pong balls.

This annual feast of anarchy includes some of Malta’s top comedy performers, including Maxine Aquilina, Stefan Farrugia, Chiara Hyzler and Malcolm Galea as the dame. They’ll be taking aim at every conceivable target on the island and more, all put together by Steve Hili as he takes a break from his comedy work in London to bring his brand of naughty humour back to the rock.

Featuring more nastiness than six-week old pastizzi, less henna tattoos than a prime minster’s wife, and only slightly better hair than Donald Trump’s, the adult panto has been described as “a show that makes me ashamed of being Steve’s mum” by Steve’s mum.

Performances are on the 3rd, 4th and 5th June at 8pm at the Sir Temi Zammit Hall at the University of Malta. Tickets can be purchased here.
