EVENTS TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN JANUARY

Malta made many new year’s resolutions last year. In January, we are going to see them materialise one by one. Here are some events to look forward to.

3 January: opening of the market in Valletta

You can see the final touches being made today. While some areas around the restored marketplace still look like a construction site, cups are already neatly aligned in indoor cafes. Let’s see what the renovation brings!

1 – 7 January: last chance to see the Mdina contemporary art biennale

We told you, it’s going to be impressive. The exhibition is on until the 7th of January.

14 – 21 January 2018: opening week of Valletta 2018

The week is going to be full of dance, music and revelry, focusing on Valletta’s four main squares – St George’s Square, St John’s Square, Castille Square, and the area around the Triton Fountain. There will be travelling bands and performers on Valletta’s various streets.
