CHRIS CORNELL DIES

Popular musician Chris Cornell died at the age of fifty-two.

Born on 20 July 1964 Christopher John Boyle, was an American songwriter, singer and musician. He was one of the most famous names in the alternative rock, metal and grunge industry for over thirty years.

He became an international superstar in the early 90’s as a lead singer and rhythm guitarist with the band “Soundgarden” producing great singles such as “Black Hole Sun” and “Spoonman”. Cornell also had a great solo career and as from 2001 formed part of the band “Audioslave”.

He will be remembered for his impressively wide vocal range and amazing acoustic abilities.

It is a black day for alternative, hard rock and grunge music fans.
