FIVE GADGETS TO LOOK FORWARD TO

The future really is now…

While all else seems to be going to the dogs, technology continues to advance at an unprecedented rate… And I couldn’t be more excited about it!

The iPhone 8 – Yes, it’s a cliché to get excited about an iPhone, I know. However, the iPhone 8 will see the phone get one of its biggest refreshes since the iPhone 6. How? Well supposedly, it will do away with the home button, will have an all-glass design (even the back!) and will have an organic LED display. You should also be doubly excited as 2017 marks the iPhone’s 10th anniversary… Yes, you’re that old.

Google Smartwatches – We don’t know much about the watches’ specs, but what we do know is that Google had pushed the update for its Android Wear to 2017, so we’re expecting something major. We also know that the two watches will not have Google branding, which has people wondering what brand it will actually be. Nokia? LG? Motorola?

Virtual Reality Headsets from Microsoft – Imagine pairing your Windows 10 laptop with a VR headset. You could see your photos and videos in 3D and even navigate through the web without the use of a mouse. Sounds pretty good to me!

Nintendo Switch – Why be constrained by wires or be stuck to a small screen? The new Nintendo Switch out this March is a gaming console that can be played on the go or in the comfort of your own home, all with just a few clicks. The video below got us all pretty excited!

Interactive Book Games – And, if like me, you’re both a bibliophile and someone who likes riddles, then the Journal 29 interactive book game is, quite possibly, the most exciting gadget release of 2017.
