True Blood’s Final Season

True Blood’s seventh and final season centres on the co-existence between humans and vampires in the small fictional town of Bon Temps in Louisiana.

The show, which kicked off way back in 2008 has gained an increasing level of popularity with each season. Full of sex, blood and allure, Season 7 will be no exception. Consisting of only ten episodes, the last season will be a mix of emotion, fighting scenes and an ever-growing pile of bodies.

Here’s a quick recap from Season 6 which saw the show’s star, Anna Paquin, in the role of Sookie Stackhouse, finally get together with Alcide, the wild wolfman. Eric is seemingly dead on a sun-soaked mountain and Hep-V vampires are threatening the whole town.

That leads us to the final season which will offer a simpler story that is sure to appeal to fans, old and new and will give viewers a chance to say goodbye to all their favourite characters.

Anna Paquin, together with husband and co-star, Stephen Moyer, are on the front cover of the June issue of Entertainment Weekly. Moyer, who plays Bill Compton in the series, is complete with fangs and Paquin lies naked next to him, in a wooden coffin. A teaser that promises a sexy final season!
