Amongst other things he has written 5 tracks for the Eurovision Song Contest, and brought Malta’s first best ever result with a second place (12 points away from victory).

He has penned over 45 songs for Eurovision national selections around Europe and had top 5 results in Norway, Greece, Iceland, Netherlands, and Malta. Currently, one of his songs is among the three songs chosen by a French broadcaster and they are competing to represent France in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in May. His début novel Sliema Wives has hit the number one spot in the best sellers list after only one week from its release, and has since become a success. At the age of 24 his designs were chosen to be featured on the front cover of the well known German fashion publication, BURDA.

What do you prefer:- women or cars? And why?

They are both very expensive to maintain! So for the time being I’ll continue to save up.

Are you a good cook? What is it that you do really well?

Yes I am. I’m quite good at making different chicken and pastas dishes – anything that takes my fancy, really. I like a good presentation too, so I’m very occupied with that when I cook. So far people have not complained. I just don’t like to follow a recipe. Creating dishes can be fun when you have the time.

Do you prefer dining out or clubbing, and why?

Dining out! I’m a big sucker for nice restaurants and fine dining. Not so much into clubbing, although I would consider it after a nice dinner. Am I sounding boring? Well, I’m a good dancer… I promise!

What do you think is your best asset?

Hmm… where do I start? Kidding! I’d say sense of humour and my creative genes. I’m also very direct and honest.

What makes you angry the most?

People who are double-faced and stab you in the back. Too many of them!
