Davinia Pace went to study in London at the age of 13, attending a boarding school of performing arts for three years. She followed that with music college. After her studies she released several songs in Malta, was nominated for best newcomer at the 2011 BMAS, and recently placed third at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with her entry ‘Betrayed’. It was her first time ever trying for the ‘Malta Song’ and she was happy with the result!

How desperate are you to be an international success?

Well, now that I have tasted fame here in Malta, I really do want to continue pursuing my dream locally and abroad. I am working on a new album at the moment and have exciting plans for the future!

Do you look forward to the January sales?

Not really – No.

What’s the most money you have spent in one go?

On clothes !

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?

I would take all my family on holiday and give money to charity.

Are you a good cook? If yes, what is it that you do really well?

I don’t really cook. I don’t think I’m very good, but I do make a mean stir fry!

Pick two celebrities to be your parents. And why would you choose them?

Erm… Okay, so Oprah Winfrey and Robert de Niro. I chose these two because they are amazing role models, very successful and seem very grounded.
